10-MILER (VIRTUAL)

The Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler offers a virtual race option for everyone to participate in the annual celebration of the founding of the U.S. Space Force right from their home. This option is open to everyone. See detailed event guidelines and frequently asked questions below.

December 1-31, 2023

Participants Amenities:

All registered participants will receive a downloadable race bib, access to the virtual goodie bag, an official race shirt, optional complimentary commemorative patch, and official finisher’s medal. Race packets will be mailed to participants beginning in January.

Virtual Race Guidelines:

You must complete your race within a single time frame between December 1st-31st. You may run, walk, or run/walk your full distance wherever you would like – around your neighborhood, on a treadmill, or any trail or course of your choosing. We encourage you to track your virtual event with a GPS-tracking app that will confirm your mileage and time.

After you complete your virtual race, you may submit your results and proof of completion (GPS data) online by December 31st. We will mail your official race shirt, official finisher’s medal, and optional complimentary commemorative patch to the address you provided during registration whether you submit results or not. If you need to update this address at any time, you may do so by following these instructions. Virtual participants will not be eligible for awards as results will be considered unofficial and will not be verified.

Virtual Race Frequently Asked Questions:

A virtual event allows participants to complete their race distance anytime and any where. You may run or walk the full distance at your own pace. You choose your own race day and your own starting line, whether it's a treadmill, your neighborhood, or a park trail.
Simply complete your race distance any day and anywhere beginning December 1. After you finish, we encourage you to upload your finish time to the results page by December 31. We will mail your race packet to the address you provided during registration beginning in January. If you have not uploaded your results by the end of the race period, your items will still be mailed to you beginning in January.
Yes, of course! We will mail your race packet which include the commemorative patch (if selected), official race shirt(s), and finisher's medal(s) to you beginning in January.
The great thing about a virtual race is you get to choose your very own race day! This can be any day beginning December 1-31. We are also aware a virtual event is not the same as an in-person event when it comes to support (hydration, restrooms, medical, etc) so please take this into account when you complete your virtual event - stay safe & healthy! If you need to complete your event at a later date that is perfectly good too.
You will choose your own route for the virtual event. We ask that you do not use any of the Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler routes as these are not pedestrian safe without the usual street closures and safety assistance with traffic.
You are going to be on the honor system for completing your virtual event. However, we will be asking participants to upload their finish time so we can have a results page (link will be provided at a later date). If you would like to track your distance and time there are many apps you may download for free such as runcoach, Strava, and RunKeeper, Garmin, Fitbit, etc. It's helpful to map out a route ahead of time too. Don't forget to share your "finish line" photos on social media so we can see your smiling faces!
As everyone will be on the honor system and submitting their own finish times, we will not be offering awards for the virtual event since all results will be considered unofficial and will not be verified.
We encourage you to run your event distance in one day and at one time just like you would on race weekend. This will be helpful when you upload your results to the online results page (link will be provided at a later date). We are also aware a virtual event is not the same as an in-person event when it comes to support (hydration, restrooms, medical, etc) so please take this into account when you complete your virtual event - stay safe & healthy! If you need to complete your event at a later date that is perfectly good too.
You may submit your race results through Race Roster although it is not required in order to receive your race packet and amenities.
If you are having trouble logging into your Race Roster account or need your password reset please contact Race Roster's customer service team directly at 1-855-969-5515.
